Students of Acharya University successfully completed the Global Immersion Program with Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP), Malaysia. Acharya University Director Vishesh Chandrashekar met with Uzbekistan’s Minister of Digital Technologies, Sherzod Shermatov, to discuss advancing digital education. Key topics included expanding the IBM certification system across Uzbekistan, particularly in Tashkent and Bukhara. Acharya University proudly inaugurated the Acharya Cyber Security Club (ACSC) in partnership with EC-Council, marking a major step toward advancing cybersecurity education. The event featured insightful discussions from industry experts, unveiling ACSC as a hub for hands-on learning, certifications, and innovation. This collaboration aims to build Uzbekistan’s cybersecurity workforce, bridge the industry-academia gap, and expand cybersecurity education across the country.

The Acharya University Campus Olympiad brought together students for an exciting display of skill and teamwork across football, volleyball, athletics, chess, and table tennis. The event fostered a spirit of competition and camaraderie, showcasing the university’s commitment to holistic development. Athletes delivered outstanding performances, making the Olympiad a memorable celebration of sports and excellence.

Held on 16th-17th October 2024, “Code Cracker” was a coding competition for II-year students, aimed at enhancing problem-solving skills. With 53 participants from B. Tech and BCA, the event highlighted creativity and collaboration. Top 3 winners received cash prizes.
